What's a Kitchen doula? Is this a stand alone class? FAQ
A Kitchen doula is a doula who can help a mother in her nutritional needs postpartum and help her by cooking for her (if she wants) as well. She will receive a certification as "Kitchen Postpartum doula certified" when finished with the nutritional portion.
This course has two options: You may opt-in to take the class as a stand alone course. You may opt-in to take this class as an add-on to postpartum doula certification. We are actually going to be making it automatic part of our certification for postpartum in near future. For right now, the class will be stand alone. Will this class also have a fast-track or zoom element? Yes, if we can have 3 confirmed students who want to meet over zoom in a 4 week format. There will not be any extra charge during our pilot time for zoom class. Self-paced and zoom will be same pricing in order to test the zoom meet-ups and see if this works well for us to offer again. How much for this stand alone course? We are going to charge $295 for this class. There are alot of other similar classes out there that charge $500 or more - so this is a great deal for our class. We may offer an extra $49 off this class for EARLY bird when we launch it. So, look for that information. When will this class launch? We are hoping in the summer sometime. I am hoping for June or July. Anyone who wants to hold a spot with a retainer fee of $75 - will receive an automatic $75 off - as we will have limited seating for the class launch. |
