St. Philomena: Teen Doula Explore and Birth Doula Fast-track (regular course but for teens to enter!)
For the rest of July-August we will be offering the teen doula "explore" class as a pre-recorded class.
The teen will also have an opportunity to Add-on the birth doula fast-track course. (See info in second section about this add-on). If teen enrolls in self-paced or fast-track birth doula early by August 15th, there will be a good discount.

What 's in the teen doula explore class:

- Birth Doula Work information
- We will cover about half of what we teach birth doula class. (So, it will be like thru module 4).
- Mini-explore course goes through a lot of what we teach in the main birth doula course with similar assignments.
- Day in life of a doula.
- Postpartum doula - we are planning to go ahead and add in more for postpartum because this covers babies more - so that will be like an overview of about 3-4 modules of our regular class.
- Bereavement doula - briefly covered
- Midwifery information and some notes about midwifery work and day in life of a midwife.
- Nursing process steps and day in life of a nurse.
- Resource list in classroom.

This course is pro-life but we don't require teen students to do pro-life pledge till they are in a certification program.

Fast-track Birth Doula for Teens and Adults in September!What's in the Teen-Adult Live Doula class for September?1. Featuring - Live zoom calls and Recorded classes available. *If emergency comes up - we will send recording for that week (no exceptions). We will meet live 7 weeks in a row.

Office Hours - we will offer 3 office hour - open to come in and ask teacher question - this maybe chat or zoom depending on teacher's schedule. 4. Students get invited to Doula Circle of the month of September. 5. Free Rebozo Level A workshop included. 6. If student wants rebozo added in - there is an extra fee for student. 7. Get certified faster - this is a 7 week course - do the work get finished faster - we will be waiving a little more work in this class. 8. You have one year to finish the class. We are offering a special course for live fast-track birth doula in September - welcoming teen students who took our "explore" classes over the summer (or any teen even if they did not take previous explore class).
There will be special teen pricing listed ($300 per teen). If two teens from same household ($250 special) or ask about partial scholarship for financial need. Price includes book. These prices are for early bird enrollment through August 31st. Class will meet Thursdays starting September 7th and go through October 19th. Enroll Now. Adult is 19 and up (unless a person took teen doula explore). This class will have less work in it - so this might be great for a busy adult student!
