Are you a teen-ager wanting to explore possibility of becoming a doula?
Your mission if you choose to accept it to join our teen explore course for spring or summertime! New and improved - simpler for teens!
Our course is back for fall - we will be meeting 3 Wednesdays in a row (tentative if all enrollees agree - or we are flexible) - timing to be around noon central - so you can do other things after the class! Class starts September 11th!
What 's in the teen doula explore class:
New improved:
Each zoom class will feature one section: birth doula, postpartum doula, nursing and midwifery.
Dates for this class tentatively - Wednesdays starting September 11th, 18th, 25th - we will meet 3 times.
We can record if someone cannot make a day - there will be recordings available. Note: We will not share recordings with anyone outside the class. We would like 2 teens to "make" a live class - if for some reason only one teen enrolls - you agree to automatically receive recordings and teen can come to our doula circle in September. Thank you.

- St. Philomena Workbook and Manual: Note Christian teens are welcome you do not have to be Catholic!
- Birth doula work overview.
- Postpartum doula overview.
- Midwifery information.
- Nursing process steps.
- Workbook has been improved. The main manual - easier for teens to finish!
- Resource list in classroom.
- You can choose to do self-paced vs. live class - but pricing is the same!
