  • Parish volunteers, ministry leaders, and non-profit pro-life organization leaders.
  • Nurses, midwives, and birth workers desiring a prolife focused training.
  • Section 2: “What You’ll Learn / Includes” – use two-column layout on desktop, single column on mobile.
  • Section 3: “Catholic & Pro-Life Focus” – 1–2 short paragraphs, maybe with a subtle vertical line or colored strip on the side in #

Finish 3 Pillars of Bereavement of Care projects in modules, Take all quizzes, Do 5 case studies, Do 5 handout assignments. (You can choose from each module - there are 7 modules), and final part is work with a bereavement family (which can be part of pillar of care projects). Certification should not take that long - but you will need time to read through materials. God Bless.
What is my title when finished? And any extra info?
You are allowed to call yourself "Certified Sorrowful  bereavement doula" or Certified Sorrowful doula.
Yes, this class is a little more specific on spirituality and Christian based. So, if you are looking for something generic - this is not the class for you. You may work with any client or mama with this course - you can work with any religion.
We do think that anyone who has had an abortion should be treated with respect and have a chance to follow bereavement - so in that aspect we will honor this mother in her sorrow. However, we will not allow our doulas to attend or take part of an abortion procedure. We have an extra module about the Post-Abortion Reversal Pill and some sensitive information - but we think it might help you if you are working with a client that needs this help.  This module is module 8 and I'll be adding to classroom in fall 2024.
