Do you need a hands on practical doula training?
I (Julie Larsen) am teaching Comfort in Birth Method in July.
What's Comfort in Birth Method?
It's a method I teach to help moms become comfortable in labor! Take the aches away and be relaxed for labor time! It is based on my book with same title. 
If I attend this training, will I be certified? Yes, we offer 2 certificates - You receive a workshop attendance certificate. Finish the quizzes, certification checklist and final exam to receive the full certification. 
Is this open to any Faith? 
Yes, this particular training - you will receive the Comfort in Birth Method Certification - unless you are one of my current students then you can choose to add on Catholic Doula Program certificate if so desired. 
What about Medicaid - will I qualify for it? If you are from Kansas - you can obtain pathway 2 with our Comfort in Birth Method program. If you are from other states, I would need to award you the Catholic Doula Program certificate - as we are approved in alot of states under that certification.

We are considering a 2 day event - probably like a Friday evening and Saturday event - but it will depend on location. Friday for example like 4 pm to 6 pm. Saturday from Noon to 5 pm.  If someone is coming from out of town they could explore Wichita in the morning.
