Our Scholarship Program - open for Summer/Fall 2026
Star of the Sea, St. Therese & St. Zélie!

We have 3 scholarships open from now through August 15th (Assumption of Mary) - we will be giving away them on case by case basis or by application. First come first serve.

Star of the Sea Scholarship

Picture
The Star of the Sea Doula Scholarship is a Marian-inspired opportunity for women who feel called to serve others through doula care rooted in faith, compassion, and presence. Inspired by Our Lady as Stella Maris, this scholarship forms women to become steady guides for families navigating life’s most vulnerable moments.
This scholarship is intended for aspiring doulas who desire to integrate Catholic faith with holistic care, particularly those called to serve underserved, vulnerable, or spiritually burdened populations. Recipients may go on to support mothers in crisis, families experiencing loss, individuals facing infertility, or the dying and their loved ones.
More than financial assistance, this scholarship is a formation in vocation—preparing women to accompany others with dignity, hope, and trust in God, becoming a light in times of uncertainty.
All scholarships are PARTIAL at this time.

St. Therese - Little Way of Love Scholarship

Picture
  • The St. Thérèse of Lisieux “Little Way of Love” Scholarship is designed for ordinary women—busy mothers, young women, or those who feel small or unseen—yet carry a deep desire for holiness through simple, faithful service.
Inspired by St. Thérèse’s “Little Way,” this scholarship emphasizes the beauty of hidden acts of love: offering gentle presence, small sacrifices, and quiet compassion in doula care. It forms women to serve not through grand gestures, but through consistent, tender accompaniment and doing little things with great love.
This scholarship is especially suited for those called to support ordinary families, including low-income mothers, busy or overwhelmed households, and women in need of steady, compassionate care during everyday challenges. All scholarships are Partial at this time.

St. Zelie Scholarship

Picture
  • The St. Zélie Martin Motherhood Scholarship is a faith-centered opportunity for women called to support mothers during the tender and demanding season of postpartum recovery and breastfeeding.
Inspired by St. Zélie’s quiet strength and devotion to family life, this scholarship is designed for those who desire to serve mothers with compassion, practical care, and encouragement. It is especially suited for women pursuing training in postpartum doula care or breastfeeding support, including the Breastfeeding Mommy Latch course.
Recipients are formed to walk alongside mothers who may be physically recovering, emotionally overwhelmed, or in need of guidance as they care for their infants. With a focus on holistic and faith-integrated support, this scholarship prepares doulas to nurture both mother and child while honoring the dignity and beauty of motherhood.
  • Click here to obtain application for this scholarship. This scholarship is for postpartum doula or breastfeeding only.

What to do for the scholarship you are applying for:

Note: All Scholarships are PARTIAL scholarships. We are unable to give out full scholarships at this time. If you need a full scholarship, I will give you a letter to give to your parish to seek funds or help from them for your partial amount. Thank you.
Here's what to do for each scholarship consideration:
  • St. Gemma Scholarship
    • Applicant serves (or desires to serve) moms facing: loss, NICU situations, single motherhood, poverty, or serious medical issues or African American maternal health.
    • Includes a short reflection: “How do you feel called to accompany suffering mothers as a doula?”
    • St. Gemma: Commit to offering one day of free or sliding-scale support per year to a family in grave difficulty.
    • St. Thérèse Scholarship
    • For those who might otherwise “never apply” because they feel too simple, shy, or hidden; maybe homeschooling moms, low-income, or rural.
    • Reflection: “Describe how you hope to live the ‘little way’ in your doula work.”
    • St. Thérèse: Commit to at least three intentional “hidden” acts of service at least one time (anonymous gifts, extra prayers, quiet support) for clients - but you can do more often if so desired.
    • Our Lady of Good Success Scholarship
      • For applicants with a clear Marian devotion and a desire to evangelize gently through their work (rosary groups, parish outreach, Catholic moms’ circles).
      • Reflection: “How do you hope to help restore Catholic family life through birth and postpartum support?”
      • Our Lady of Good Success: Commit to one Marian initiative per year (hosting a rosary for expectant moms, sharing Marian prayers/resources, etc.).
      • Fill out the Form below for scholarship - please specify which scholarship program you are applying for.
