We have decided on a final name of "Mary's Embrace" End of Life doula course - we will be working on Angelic Passage later as a more non-denominational version - our current course is still open to Christians (Protestants) but you will need to know our course is Catholic based and will have Catholic elements throughout the course.

To Die Well (Surgeon), Midwife for the Souls, and other books will be added - some books will be choices for you to read through. Note: There are not many Catholic books so just be aware that we are doing our best on book choices.

1. Welcome to Mary's Embrace End of Life Doula - Payment plan option #1 - for this course. Sale is $550 up to March 2nd - Payment plans do incur extra fees. After March 2nd class is $600-May 1st.
2. You will receive the course only for payment plan students - we will not be able to provide books - you may ask for book list and purchase as you need when working through the course.
3. Payment plan #1 for the March 2nd Sale - shall be $207 up front 1st payment, $207 second payment, Third Payment $155 for final payment plan. Total = $569 (includes payment plan fees.)

Mary's Embrace Payment Plan #2

$154.00

Start Mary's Embrace at $154 down - includes one book for course and course materials and access. The rest of the payments will be worked out with instructor - most likely $105 a month or something like that till finished.

Pilot program - 4 modules are available in classroom. The rest will be added on a monthly basis till program is complete.

Frequently Asked Questions about Mary's Embrace

What is an end-of-life doula?

Also known as a death doula, companion to the dying. 
The best way to describe this work is: A Companion to the dying – is a person who helps the family with light care for the dying person or emotional needs of the family. 
We go into more detail inside our class!

What services can I provide in this field?

You can provide support for those individuals and families from a terminal diagnosis (common to have 6-9 months prior to passing), you can be there in the final hours or days of one's life, if you're a death doula you can provide funeral planning or celebrant planning, you can be a legacy doula who helps individuals reflect on their life's meaning through storytelling and memory projects, you can also provide support to families and provide rituals and vigils for families, once they have passed.

How long will it take me to complete the course?

Most students find that the course can be completed in 6 months, and during the final months even start providing services to those in need. If you do have the business VIP track you can potentially see a bit of a longer stretch to complete with that 1:1 Support. 

What about Pastoral Care? 

We are adding a short section on this in the class.
