Special Fast-track Classes for Summer!

FAQ about the Summer Fast-track classes
2. How often do we meet? Once a week. Days of week to be determined. Usually I have been doing Wednesdays.
3. Will I be finished when fast-track is finished or how does the work go? We have had students finish up by 6-8 weeks and other students kind of do self-paced - but our aim is to get you finished as fast as possible - so we are now including a final exam option for fast-track students.
4. What are the certification requirements? We can send a short list of requirements - Birth doula will have a portfolio to submit with items in it. Postpartum doula work may do the same. Both classes usually have a community project, resource list, interviews which can be combined.
If you are taking both doula classes together, we can make it One resource list (instead of two), 2 birth interviews, 2 postpartum interviews, 3-4 book reviews total instead of 6-8, one community project (instead of two) and/or one birth/one postpartum family to work with - hours of community project can be 20 hours for both courses instead of 20 hours each.
5. Are you part of DONA, CAPPA, etc.? No, we are our own certifying organization in order to keep our program pro-family and pro-life.
We are Medicaid approved and Carrot approved. (Medicaid will depend on the state you are in - sometimes we are pathway 2, cultural pathway, etc.) We also can submit our program to obtain state approval if needed. We are listed on several state websites or message me about your state!
6. Books: We are now requiring students to pay for books - we will be adding in a book page soon - so you know where to find books or obtain author books by Julie. Book Bonus: we are offering a SPECIAL - if you enroll with the early bird - we are adding in one print book for each course - OR if you pay in Full - you will receive all books you need up front. Pay in full students also receive a rebozo included.
All students receive manuals for class as PDF.
Extra: Rebozo - for payment plans - there will be an add on fee of $50 for longer rebozo or $30 for a simple rebozo - please let us know your preference when enrolling. You may opt-out of a rebozo and not add on the fee to any payment plans. (Pay in full we usually send a rebozo complimentary.)

Note: If doing a payment plan, all payments must be made before receiving a certification. We also are creating a badge to put on your website!

- This is a hybrid event - expectations for full certification will be sent upon enrollment.
