Learn the Art of Belly Wrapping Earn a certificate in belly wrapping to enhance the support and rejuvenation you provide to your mom clients. This training will also help you diversify your doula practice by adding this valuable service. **Mamas are welcome to attend to learn how to do belly wrapping. Doulas: Depending on how you structure your belly wrapping offerings, you can charge $150+ for each session. You will explore:
Review of power point slides 3 Wrapping Styles: Faja, Bengkung and Ayruveda - note I don't get into the philosophies of any religious or Hindu thinking and I add a Catholic twist to doing this with a mother - we are just covering the why and how to do the wrapping. There will be a Power Point slides and info on making your own DIY cloths in the slides. Bonus: Recipe for belly balm included. We do not go over how to massage someone's womb* in this class - but we may consider offering this at some point for massage therapists. *Out of scope of practice of most doulas. FAQ's: 1. Do we cover Bengkung belly binding too? Yes, our slides show you how to do the Bengkung technique. Our main focus will be Ayruveda style and we will do Bengkung technique (via zoom) if time allows. I think you will love the Ayruveda technique. We want to have time to talk about the why too of belly binding. 2. Do you offer CEU's and how do I get them? Yes, Once you submit your paperwork showing that you worked with 2 clients and quiz over materials, you will receive a certificate and 2 CEU's to present to DONA or CAPPA. Thank you. 3. Do you include womb oil and belly paste recipes? Yes, we will send you a handout on that. 4. I am a mama and interested in coming - am I welcome too? Yes, mamas can come to this class as well as doulas! 5. How long is the live zoom class? We will have 2 (40 minute) sessions back to back - with a few minute break in middle. 6. What if I cannot make either session - may I enroll and receive recordings? Yes, we would be glad to send you recording of the class. 7. How much can I make offering belly binding services - we say between $150-$250 for offering this service to mamas. 8. Who are you?
